Share Files Within MyDRIVE

Overview

This article details the steps to share files within MyDRIVE.

Steps

  1. Login to MyDRIVE following these steps.

  2. To share files in your - My Home Folder - with others, click the Share icon  icon to the right of the file name.

  1. To get a shareable hyperlink to this file (i.e., to post on Canvas), click the Share button.

  1. This link will be active for 72 hours unless you specify a different duration (maximum is 30 days). Password protection is optional. Set your preferences and click the Share button.

  1. You will see the public link. Click the Paste icon icon at the end of the link to copy the link.  Paste the link into a Canvas message or email to share it. Shared files are also located in the My Shared Files folder.
