This article details the steps to connect to the Campus WiFi.
Click on the wireless network icon/wireless settings on your device.
Select NOVAwifi and select Connect.
Enter nvcc\NVCC Username OR directory\myNOVA Username (e.g., nvcc\jsmith OR directory\js21805)
Enter your myNOVA (VCCS) or NVCC password and click the OK button.
Click Connect and accept the security certificate.
When connected, the WiFi icon (located in the system tray or at the top of the device screen) indicates the wireless signal strength.
Select NOVAwifi and enter the following settings:
EAP method: PEAP
Phase 2 authentication: MSCHAPv2
CA certificate: Use system certificates (Android 12 or below) Trust on First Use (Android 13) or Do not use (varies per device)
Online Certificate Status (Android 12 or below): Do not verify
Domain (Android 12 or below): nvcc.edu OR nvstu.edu (depending upon which side you're connecting to)
Identity: nvcc\NVCC Username OR directory\myNOVA Username (e.g., nvcc\jsmith OR directory\js21805)
Password: NVCC Password OR myNOVA Password
(Android 13) Click Yes, connect when prompted to trust the network.
(Chrome) After entering all these settings, REBOOT. When the computer turns back on, click on your desired network, and a connection should be established within 10 seconds.
