Overview
This article details the steps to submit an IT Support ticket through the NOVA Services Portal.
Steps

Go to the NOVA Services Portal: https://services.nvcc.edu/

Click Sign In in the top right corner.
- Enter your myNOVA (VCCS) username and click the GO button.

Use Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) to login. Please refer to MFA for myNOVA (VCCS) for the detailed steps.

Once authenticated, click the Technology Support button.

The Submit a Ticket page displays. Click the IT Support button.
Note: Required fields are indicated by a red asterisk (*).

Select your Campus and enter the Best Number to Reach You.
- Enter a brief description of your request in the Description Summary field.

Select the Type of Issue. For example, if you have an issue with your account, select Account Access. Select or enter any additional details when prompted.

Enter the full details of the request, including any appropriate circumstances or supplementary information that may aid in resolving it, in the Description Details field.

If applicable, click the Browse button to select and upload an attachment or screenshot in the Attachment field.

Review the request details for accuracy. Click the Submit button to submit the ticket.

A page displays a message that the request was created successfully and lists the Incident ID. You can create another request, view the request, or view all requests using the provided links. You will also receive a email notification with the request information and a link to view the request.

When you view the request, you have the option to a) withdraw the request by clicking the Withdraw Request button, b) add an attachment by clicking the Add Attachment button, or c) add a comment by clicking the Comment button. You can also click the Add Alert button to receive an email notification if any changes are made on your request by the IT Help Desk agent.
