This article details the steps to pay a citation online.
Steps

To pay a citation online, go to https://www.nvcc.edu/student-resources/parking and select Pay Citation.

Click the myNOVA Login button if you are a student or faculty/staff member. Click the Guest Login button if you are not a student or faculty/staff member.

If you are a student or faculty/staff member, log in using your myNOVA username and multi-factor authentication (MFA).

If you are not a student or faculty/staff member, log in using your driver’s license number and password. If you have not created a Guest Account previously, select the create one link. If you have created a Guest Account but cannot remember your password, select the retrieve your lost information link.

Enter the Citation Number on the docket or the state and license plate of the vehicle that received the citation.
Note: Do not use both. Only use one or the other.

Click the Search Citations button.

Click the Add to Basket button under Pay this Citation.

At the top of the page, select the 
shopping cart icon and then select PAY NOW.

Once you are viewing your cart, ensure your NOVA email address is correct and then click the Place Order button.

Click the Next button on the Payment Information screen.

Enter your credit card and billing information.
Note: Only Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover Card are accepted.

Once you are finished, click the Process button to process your payment. You will be taken to the confirmation receipt page if the payment was successful.
Note: If you are student/faculty/staff member and there is a parking hold on your student account, the hold will be removed automatically 2‐3 hours after payment has been made.
