Overview
This article details how to use NOVAfy. NOVAfy is an eCard system that allows you to notify (or NOVAfy) a fellow employee or a direct report that you noticed fine work or exceptional service to students and peers.
Steps

Open your web browser and then go the NOVAnet (Employee Intranet) homepage.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and then click Recognize Colleagues with NOVAfy under Employee Recognition.

Enter your NVCC credentials (username and password) if prompted and then select your NVCC account.

Select Send an eCard from the Recognition menu.
OR
Click the Send an eCard button at the bottom of the page.

Choose a recipient in the Send To field. Enter the FULL name and select the recipient.

If you have multiple recipients, repeat Step 5 to choose additional recipients.

Optional: If you do not know the FULL name of the Recipient(s), select Employee Directory from the Recognition menu. Otherwise, proceed to Step 9.

Enter search criteria, and/or select All Employees or My Team Only and/or Simple or Detailed to display search results. Copy the FULL name of the Recipient(s) and return to Step 5 to proceed.

Select an eCard type.

Select an eCard image.

Write a meaningful message in the text field and then click the Preview & Send button.

Click the Send Message button to send the message or click the Cancel button to change the message.

You and the recipient(s) receive an email with a link to the eCard.

Recipients may also view their eCard messages in the NOVAfy Wall. Select My Wall from the Recognition menu to search for and display all eCard messages.
