Summary
Students often don’t see a course in Canvas because it hasn’t been published, so they should check “All Courses” in Canvas, verify their enrollment in the Student Information System (SIS), and contact the instructor or registrar if the course is missing or unpublished.

Missing Course(s)
Overview
The most common reason students do not see a course in Canvas is that the course has not yet been published. To resolve this, students should first go to the "Courses" section and click on "All Courses" to check if the course is listed. If the course appears but is marked as unpublished, students should contact the instructor to confirm when the course will be made available. Additionally, students should check the Student Information System (SIS) to ensure they are properly enrolled in the course. If the course is not listed in either Canvas or the SIS, it may indicate an enrollment issue, which should be addressed with the registrar’s office or the instructor.
