Provision Beta NOVACard Mobile Credentials

Overview

This article details the steps to provision NOVACard Mobile on Apple and Android devices.

Apple Devices

1. Download Atrium Campus Connect App from the Apple Store.

2. Open the Atrium App, enter your NVCC email address (faculty and Staff) or VCCS email (Students), and tap FIND ME.

3. The app will find the College associated with email. Please ensure NOVA is indicated on the sign in site and tap NEXT. ​​​​​​ 

4. Please continue signing in with Single Sign On (SSO). Please enter your myNOVA (VCCS) username and tap GO. Please enter the password when indicated on the screen.

5. Upon logging in, the app will display your NOVACard information. Please tap the Settings option at the bottom right corner of the page.

6. Tap Credentials. 

7. Please select the Device you will be configuring.
   Note: You may configure one iPhone and one iWatch Device.

8. Follow the steps on your device to add the NOVACard to your Wallet.

         

9. Once the NOVACard has been added you should see the Phone credentials as active. 

 

10. For iPhones devices: To activate express mode, please select the Wallet App.
    Note: Express Mode allows your device to work by sampling holding it near a reader, without having to unlock your phone or requiring Face ID. 

11. In the Apple Wallet select your NOVACard Credential and tap the Information icon.
    Note: On some iPhones it will show as three dots icon.

12. In the menu, please ensure the Express Mode is enabled.

13. Confirm Express Mode. Your Mobile Credential is now active and it is ready to use.

 

Android Devices

1. Download Atrium Campus Connect App from the Play Store.
    

 

2. Open the Atrium App, enter your NVCC email address (faculty and Staff) or VCCS email (Students), and tap FIND ME. 

3. The app will find the College associated with email. Please ensure NOVA is indicated on the sign in site and tap NEXT. 

4. Please continue signing in with Single Sign On (SSO). Please enter your myNOVA (VCCS) username and tap GO. Please enter password when indicated on the screen.

5. Upon logging in, the app will display your NOVACard information. Please tap Credentials. 

6. Next click on Mobile Credentials to activate the NFC mobile credential.

7. Your Mobile Credential is now active and it is ready to use. 
   Note: Clicking Active on either ID Card or Mobile Credentials will deactivate it (used if a card or phone is lost/stolen). Click again to reactivate.
