Request Electronic Door Access

What is it?

Request access to a building, room or physical space controlled by an electronic access door or physical key.  Electronic door access is enabled via a physical NOVACard with an embedded proximity sensor required to work with the door reader.

Who is Eligible to Use It?

Faculty and Staff are eligible to use this service.

Faculty and Staff access is granted based on job role and location needs. Access requires the approval of a supervisor, dean or director, DCO and IT Accounts personnel. The required approvals are managed via submission of the Key and Electronic Door Access Form (105-156). The form will automatically determine if access can be enabled electronically or if a physical key will be required.

Student access is granted via the Dean or Assistant Dean on a per-semester basis.

How Do I Request It?

For Staff and Faculty, a link to the Key and Electronic Door Access Form (105-156) will be available at the top of the web site you are directed to.

Students should be enabled by default based on their need to access classrooms and practice rooms that have readers attached to them, or rooms that are available for reservation.
