Clear the Cookies/Cache from Your Web Browser

Overview

This article details the steps to clear the cookies/cache from your Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Mozilla Firefox web browser.

Google Chrome

  1. Open the Google Chrome web browser.

  1. Click the three-dot  icon in the top right corner of the web browser.

  2. Select Delete browsing data (Ctrl + Shift + Del) in the drop-down menu.

  1. Leave the Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files checkboxes selected.

  2. Select the timeframe for cookies/cache to be cleared in the Time range field.

  3. Click the Delete data button to clear the cookies/cache from the web browser.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Open the Microsoft Edge web browser.

  2. Click the three-dot  icon in the top right corner of the web browser.

  3. Select History (Ctrl + H) in the drop-down menu.

  1. Click the Trash  icon in the History dialog.

  1. Leave the Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files checkboxes selected.

  2. Select the timeframe for cookies/cache to be cleared in the Time range field.

  3. Click the Clear now button to clear the cookies/cache from the web browser.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Open the Mozilla Firefox web browser.

  2. Click the three-line  icon in the top right corner of the web browser.

  1. Select History in the drop-down menu.

  1. Select Clear recent history in the drop-down menu.

  1. Leave the Cookies and other site data and Temporary cached files and pages checkboxes selected.

  2. Select the timeframe for cookies/cache to be cleared in the When field.

  3. Click the Clear button to clear the cookies/cache from the web browser.
