Upload Your NOVACard Photo

Overview

This article details the steps to upload your NOVACard photo.

Steps

  1. Visit  https://connectnvcc.atriumcampus.com/ and login with your myNOVA credentials.

            ** You may also access NOVACard Online Services via the Atrium Connect App- Click HERE for details. **

  1. Select Upload Your Photo.


 

  1. Select an ID Type from the drop down to upload your Government ID. Click Upload Government-Issues ID to proceed.

Note: You must upload a Government ID to be able to proceed with Photo Upload Online. If unable to upload a Government ID, please visit our NOVACard Office and present two Secondary forms of ID. For more information see our guide HERE.


 

  1. Clock Choose File to select the appropriate photo and then click Upload Photo to continue.

Photo Requirements:

  • White Background - Photo must be in color with a white or pale background

  • Entire Head and Shoulders - Photo must include your entire head and should. We may be able to crop large photos if needed.

  • Face the Camera - Head and shoulders should directly face the camera. No profile or angle shots. Eyes must be open and looking at the camera.

  • No shadows - Make sure your photo is taken in a well-lit area with no shadows. Make sure that your entire face can be seen. Include headdress only if worn daily for religious purposes and they do not obscure or cast shadows on the eyes or face. No hats, bandanas, sunglasses, etc.

  • Recent photo - Photo must be taken within the last six months.

  • No camera filters - Do not use any camera filters.

  1. In the the next screen make edits to the photo and crop image if needed. Select Save Photo to continue.

  1. Please review the photo one more time and select Confirm to submit. A confirmation email will be sent upon successful upload.

Note: Please wait for an email confirming that your photo has been approved before visiting a NOVACard Office.
